It is at Fotografia Beleza, on Rua de Santa Teresa – from 1918 onwards run by Moreira de Campos and, in 1935, with António Lopes Moreira as the sole owner – that Porto's bourgeoisie sees itself again, with the studio having an elegant waiting room, where portraits of the best society in the North were displayed.

In fact, Fotografia Beleza left a set of several hundred thousand photographic documents – one of the largest collections known to date in Portugal, which includes more than 10,000 photographs on glass plates, of landscapes, namely urban landscape. The remaining species are portraits of people from the North, with relevance to Porto and its surroundings.

This collection, probably the most important collection of the 20th century from a Portuguese photography house, also includes supporting textual documentation , most particularly, the record books of the work carried out and ordered, 375 in number (352 small format, 8 large format and 15 images), which, in detail, recorded the client's name and address, identification number, their type format and date.

Alto Douro and Port Wine, which seeks to illustrate the most important aspects of the region, wine production, transport, storage and export of the Port Wine cycle.

A portrait of Portugal in the 20th century, which basically integrates three types of photographs: landscape; companies, associations and other institutions; and documentary, groups or events.

The representation of oneself: the portrait of Beauty Photography, which concerns the individual portrait itself, the longest section, which is not surprising, knowing that more than 90% of photographs taken in the first decades of the 20th century, in Portugal, they were portraits. In fact, in the case of Foto Beleza, the portrait alone represents more than 98% of its estate.
